Core

Getting started

From request to kickoff in a few guided steps.

What to expect

Devskip is built for businesses that want delivery handled end-to-end. We guide you through scope, staffing, and milestone planning so you always know what is being built and why.

Steps

  1. Submit your request with goals, timeline, and constraints.
  2. Discovery call to confirm scope, requirements, and success criteria.
  3. Appraisal with projected rates and milestones.
  4. Upfront payment and confirmation meeting to start delivery.

Why it works

You stay focused on business outcomes while we coordinate execution, communication, and progress tracking.

How projects run

Milestones, reviews, and delivery cadence.

Delivery model

We staff a small pod matched to your stack and project needs. Each milestone includes clear deliverables and acceptance criteria.

Milestones

  • Milestones define scope and reduce surprises.
  • Each milestone is reviewed and approved before release.
  • Changes are documented and reflected in the plan.

Communication

Devskip provides a single point of contact for status, approvals, and scope changes.

Pricing

Pricing and appraisal

How pricing is projected and updated.

Project appraisal

Rates are projected after appraisal and reflect scope, complexity, timeline, and required expertise.

Your appraisal includes:

  • A recommended delivery plan
  • Milestones with estimated effort and cost
  • A projected timeline

When pricing changes

If scope changes materially, we update the appraisal and re-confirm the plan before work continues.

Payments and kickoff

Upfront payment and milestone release rules.

Upfront payment

Businesses only get work started after an upfront payment and a confirmation meeting with the requesting team.

This ensures:

  • Scope and expectations are aligned
  • The delivery plan is approved
  • The team can start immediately

Milestone releases

Milestones are released after review and acceptance. If revisions are needed, we resolve them before closing the milestone.

Scope changes

How we handle new requirements after kickoff.

Change management

If requirements shift after kickoff, we document the update and provide a revised appraisal.

Material changes may affect:

  • Projected rates
  • Milestone scope
  • Timeline expectations

Security

Security practices

How we protect project data and access.

Access control

We apply least-privilege access and limit project data to the assigned pod and delivery lead.

Credentials

We do not store sensitive credentials in plain text and recommend using vaulting or secrets management for production access.

Reviews

For sensitive work, we can support security reviews and additional access controls on request.

Student privacy and safety

How we protect student privacy and respond to harassment.

Privacy protections

Student location is never disclosed to businesses.

Harassment policy

A student may stop working on any project if they feel harassed or targeted. This immediately triggers an investigation by Devskip.

Accountability

We enforce respectful communication across all projects and reserve the right to remove parties that violate policy.

Support

Support and escalation

How to get help or escalate issues.

Support model

Devskip provides a single point of contact for delivery questions and milestone approvals.

Escalation

If issues arise, we coordinate remediation or reassignment. Urgent concerns are escalated to Devskip leadership.
